Climate & Weather
The Cinque Terre are a lost corner of paradise, as they enjoy a particularly favorable climate during the winter time.
Thanks to the very steep terrain that protects the villages from the cold wind of the earth, even in winter temperatures are quite mild. The best time to visit the Cinque Terre is spring, for the awakening of nature, with flowers and fruits, but also because the days are longer to the full benefit of the various activities.
The season generally extends from March to October, but also in winter in December and January there are many tourists who choose these small villages to spend their Christmas or New Year’s Eve. Temperatures range from 20 to 35 degrees in high season, down to around 10-15 in the winter. Rarely you can meet the snow in the highest mountains. The best way to get to Cinque Terre is by train or by car, in this case it is preferable to find accommodation that also includes parking, because it is increasingly difficult to find free parking places. The train is the fastest way for a quick and fast visit, in a few minutes you can go from one village to another without too much trouble.
Certainly the most interesting and fascinating is to visit the five lands by sea. We offer a complete experience package to visit the Cinque Terre by sea with small traditional boats with or without guide. Very interesting is the sight through our guided service on the original Vespa, the world-renowned two-wheeler bike for its style and design. With the wasp it is possible to walk through the high Roman road and observe the 5 lands above, admire the vineyards and visit one of the cellars where Cinque Terre wine is produced and make wine tasting along with the winemaker.
